The Honda Accord 2023, does it have a V6 engine?

Previous editions of the Honda Accord offered a V6 engine as an option, however the most recent models no longer do.

For the top trim levels of the Accord, Honda began substituting a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine for the V6 engine option in the 2018 model year.

Similar to the V6 engine in terms of horsepower and torque, the new engine is more fuel-efficient.

Honda's plan to discontinue its V6 engine is consistent with a larger industry trend towards smaller, more effective engines.

Smaller, more efficient engines that can produce performance comparable to larger engines

are becoming more popular as automakers struggle to fulfil ever-stricter fuel economy and emissions rules.

The Honda Accord has maintained its reputation for performance while providing better fuel efficiency thanks to the transition to a turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
