The 2024 Toyota Tacoma looks like this, or does it?

Toyota won the sales race for the 17th year in a row with a total of 237,323.

General Motors came in second with a total of 117,016 sales from the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon.

Even though the Tacoma's last big update was in 2016, and even though it's based on

a platform that was first made in 2005 and has since been updated, this is still the case.

But a brand-new Tacoma is being made. It will be built on a brand-new chassis

that is similar to the one that supports the new Sequoia and Tundra full-size trucks.

Other official information, like the exact release date, isn't known, but prototypes with  their faces covered have been seen testing on the road, which suggests that it might finally come out for the 2024 model year.
