Specs for the 2024 Kia EV9 may have leaked ahead of its debut this year.

The trim-level names for the five stated EV9 cars remain unknown, but the paper indicates that the two lowest trims will include rear-wheel drive,

200 horsepower, and 250 lb-ft of torque. The base model will reportedly start at approximately $56,000,

with a range of 220 miles and a claimed 60-mph pace of 8.5 seconds, but no towing capacity. The $61,000 RWD model,

which presumably has a larger battery pack, can tow 2000 pounds and provides an additional 70 miles of range at the cost of 0.4 seconds in the 0-60 mph dash.

All-wheel drive will cost you at least $63,000, but this improved powertrain is said to deliver 400 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque.

The range decreases to 260 miles, but the towing capacity increases to 3,500 pounds and the acceleration to 60 miles per hour is reduced to 6.0 seconds.

For an additional $68,000, the next level adds 20-inch wheels in favour of the regular 19-inch wheels, reducing the range to 240 miles.
