Ford is slashing Mustang Mach-E prices in the latest round of EV pricing wars.

To remain competitive in the electric vehicle (EV) market,

Ford recently reduced the price of the Mustang Mach-E.

The Mach-E, Ford's all-electric performance SUV, will now start at $39,974, a nearly $6,000 savings.

Ford is attempting to meet consumer demand by positioning the Mach-E as a more affordable alternative to Tesla's EVs.

Other recent price cuts include a free upgrade to the Extended Range battery,

which reduces the total cost for some Mach-E configurations by $2,500.

With the Mach-E, Ford is clearly attempting to attract a new type of consumer and make it more appealing in the current EV landscape.
